Full Loot Economy

Wear it, lose it. Bury it, someone finds it. The economy never stops.

What "full loot" means here

When you die, what you were carrying drops. Anyone walking past can take it. There is no soulbound gear, no corpse run safety net, no rename token to fix your reputation if you got the kill.

This is the same rule for everyone — Founders, free players, fresh accounts, old veterans. The blade you forged yourself stays a blade until someone better takes it from you.

Why this matters for the economy

In games without full loot, items accumulate. Inventories swell. Master crafters stop mattering once the average player has three of everything. The economy ossifies; new players have nothing to sell because supply is infinite.

Full loot keeps the floor moving. Every death is demand. Every craft is a question of whether the next person to walk past is going to pick it up. Master smiths are real because their work runs out.

What's still being decided

  • Insurance / soulbound exceptions (none planned, but room to revisit)
  • Loot ownership window for the killer
  • Decay on dropped items (stems from broader decay philosophy)
